IEC recently announced the promotion of Tim Corbett to the role of General Manager. This is an important milestone at IEC that represents not only our growth and the need to support the expanding geographic footprint of IEC’s operations; but also a strategic era for IEC the company transitions out of the 8(a) program. This includes 7 active IDIQ contracts with DOD and Non-DOD clients and an 10-50 person electrical crew that performs throughout the United States for a total staff of over 120 employees.
“Each IEC office and program is unique and has it’s own characteristics, challenges, and opportunities. It’s important we have resources available to support their needs and to have consistency across all operations to appropriately manage so our teams are supported and the customer is taken care of.” says Nilson Goes, IEC Chief Operating Officer. “I’m confident Tim is the person to address these challenges across both elements of our business: General Contracting and Electrical Contracting – while maintaining IEC’s company values and teamwork culture”.
Tim joined IEC during IEC’s first Whiteman AFB SABER (2010-2015) and has served as Sr. Project Manager and Program General Manager. He brings with him strong track record of construction and personnel management- as well as the success of leading the high performing team at Whiteman Air Force base SABER.
Tim will be based of IEC’s Home Office in Kansas City, MO.
